The visibility of the ropes under the sole is a result of our handmade production process and the thin nature of the sole. While the ropes can be seen, they are carefully crafted to ensure they do not disturb or cause discomfort when wearing the sandals. Orders are usually shipped on the next business day. The standard delivery time is 2-6 business days and express delivery of 1-2 business days to Australia, and 4-8 business days to New Zealand, unless otherwise stated on the product page.

Bokynas are true to size, so to get the best fit choose your regular shoe size. If your measurements fall in between two sizes, we recommend choosing the larger size. you can find more information in our size guide.

I like these a lot! I have wide feet so they are a tiny bit snug to get on, but they still feel great. Note: the "Cream" colour is more of a buttery or soft yellow shade.
These look super cute, and the straps are very soft of my feet. My only complaint is the sole of the sandal is pretty hard and flat, so it doesn't offer much support. I've gone on a couple of 30-40 minute walks with these and by the end my feet feel bruised for the rest of the day! They're great for just going out and about, but definitely not the shoe I would take for a significant walk.
I have 6 pairs of Bokyna’s and I love them all. These sandals are so adorable and cute. They go from beach to lunch to evening drinks with ease, always looking stylish and feeling comfortable. I love the storage bag they come in also, as it makes travelling with shoes so much easier not to mention convenient!

In size 10 the Bokynas are 10cm wide. If your feet are slightly wider, they would still be suitable. But, for a wide fit, we recommend our Freedom Collection. The models from this collection are available in a special wide fit to accommodate any size foot.
Yes, by moving the side cords, our Bokynas can be made a bit narrower.
No, the cords don't get any bigger when you wear them. They do not wear out but keep their shape. But that also means that you can't "shrink" them.
The sole is 2 cm thick at the back of the heel and 1 cm thick at the front.
Bokynas do not have a footbed or insole. Nevertheless, all our sandals have flexible soles so you can enjoy nothing but comfort at every step.
The ribbons that the bands are made of are very soft. But don't take our word for it - here is what one of our wonderful customers Alison says: "The cords fit super, are butter soft, and you don't notice them at all." Alison purchased a pair of Turquoise Soulmates on 25 May 2021.
As the extent and location of each person's bunion will be different, it is difficult to give one answer to suit everyone. We have had previous great feedback from customers who have purchased the SOULMATE model, as the bunion fits exactly into the gap between the straps. The Bokynas are colorfast and can be washed by hand with warm water and soap.
